If you're shopping for open box in Miami, Florida, Francis Retail runs a flat-rate freight lane from our Santa Fe Springs warehouse to the Miami metro. We stock open-box sofas, open-box beds, and open-box appliances from Costco, Amazon, and Signature Hardware at 40-80% off retail — and ship them 2,740 miles to your FL address by Warp LTL freight, with no markup added to the freight price.
Most open box items we ship fit cleanly on a single pallet inside the 2,740 miles lane to Miami. That means the rate you see on this page is the rate you'll pay, not an opening bid. If you're furnishing a home in the Miami metro — population ~6.1M — run the landed-cost math: we sell open-box sofas and open-box beds at 40-80% off retail, and the current rate for a standard pallet is shown on this page.
For open box bound for Miami, FL, expect a scheduling call from the freight carrier 1-2 business days before delivery so you can pick a 4-hour window. Curbside is the default. Add two-man inside delivery (white-glove, flat $300) at checkout if the item is heavy, bulky, or going upstairs.

How open box freight delivery works
Curbside + liftgate
Standard freight is curbside with liftgate: the driver lowers the pallet to your driveway or curb. Moving it inside is up to you unless you add inside delivery.
Two-man inside delivery (white-glove)
A 2-person crew brings your items inside your home, to the room of your choice — not just the curb. One flat $300 per order. Assembly isn't included.
Open Box shipping to Miami — FAQ
Can I confirm the open box freight rate to Miami before placing an order?
Yes. The rate on this page is the current flat-rate quote for a representative open box pallet to the Miami catchment. If your item is oversized or your zip is at the edge of the lane, call (562) 568-8883 or email [email protected] and we'll confirm the exact rate and transit for your specific SKU and FL zip before you check out.
How long does it take to ship open box from Los Angeles to Miami?
Warp's current transit estimate for the 2,740 miles Miami lane is 7 business days after pickup from our warehouse, plus 1-2 days handling to prep the pallet. The carrier calls you 24-48 hours before the delivery window so you can pick a 4-hour slot.
How does open box ship on freight to Miami?
Most open-box sofas and open-box beds fit on a single 50×50×85-inch pallet under 850 lb, which is Warp's flat-rate ceiling on the Miami lane. The crew at our Santa Fe Springs warehouse boxes, wraps, and palletizes each item. If your specific SKU exceeds the ceiling (oversized pieces, multi-box sets), checkout will show a custom quote instead of the flat-rate number — no surprises.
Are the open box items shipped to Miami new, open-box, or used?
Every open box listing shows its condition: New (sealed, unopened), Open Box (returned or display, inspected and graded), or As-Is (visible wear, sold at deeper discount). Condition is disclosed on the product page before you add to cart — no bait-and-switch when the pallet arrives at your Miami door.
Which FL zip codes qualify for flat-rate open box freight on the Miami lane?
The Miami catchment covers residential FL zips within the Miami metro commuter radius, including Hialeah, Coral Gables, Miami Beach and surrounding areas. Enter your actual delivery zip at checkout and the system confirms flat-rate eligibility for your open box order. Fringe zips may quote a standard LTL rate instead of flat rate.
Do I need to be home for a open box delivery in Miami?
Yes — residential open box freight to Miami requires someone 18+ present at the delivery address to sign the Bill of Lading. The carrier will call to schedule a 4-hour window so you're not waiting all day. If no one's home during the confirmed window, the carrier's actual reattempt and storage charges apply before redelivery.
