Why does pergolas cost so much in Denver? Because local retail in a metro of 3M people (median household income near $78K) can charge what it charges. Francis Retail sells liquidation inventory from our own warehouse and ships it to your CO address on a flat-rate freight lane built for pergolas and hardtop gazebos.
Dimensions matter more than distance for pergolas. A 1,015 miles run from Santa Fe Springs to Denver is 15 hours of drive time the carrier eats, not you. What kicks a freight quote off a cliff is when the pallet breaks Warp's 50×50×85 envelope or crosses 850 lb. For pergolas and hardtop gazebos, that's rare — we design our pallets around the flat-rate ceiling. The handful of SKUs that don't fit (oversized sectionals, long pergola beams, full home-gym sets) get a transparent custom quote instead of a surprise-at-delivery rate.
Curbside delivery with liftgate is included on every pergolas order to Denver. Driver calls 24-48 hours ahead to book a 4-hour window. Two-man inside delivery (white-glove) to the room of your choice is a flat $300 checkout add-on.

How pergolas freight delivery works
Curbside + liftgate
Standard freight is curbside with liftgate: the driver lowers the pallet to your driveway or curb. Moving it inside is up to you unless you add inside delivery.
Two-man inside delivery (white-glove)
A 2-person crew brings your items inside your home, to the room of your choice — not just the curb. One flat $300 per order. Assembly isn't included.
Pergolas shipping to Denver — FAQ
Is pergolas freight insured in transit to Denver?
Standard Warp LTL coverage protects pergolas up to a carrier liability limit (typically $0.10/lb for used freight class). For high-value Denver orders we offer optional declared-value coverage at checkout — it increases the declared value of the shipment with the carrier and funds our recovery if the pallet is damaged or lost. Either way, your remedy for damage on arrival is our damage-resolution process at no cost to you — it doesn't depend on the coverage outcome.
Can I pick up pergolas at a Denver freight terminal instead of having it delivered?
On several Denver lanes, the carrier supports terminal pickup, which saves the residential delivery surcharge. Email [email protected] or call (562) 568-8883 before placing the order and we'll confirm whether your specific pergolas item supports Denver-terminal pickup and what the savings would be.
Are the pergolas items shipped to Denver new, open-box, or used?
Every pergolas listing shows its condition: New (sealed, unopened), Open Box (returned or display, inspected and graded), or As-Is (visible wear, sold at deeper discount). Condition is disclosed on the product page before you add to cart — no bait-and-switch when the pallet arrives at your Denver door.
How much pergolas do you actually stock?
Our Santa Fe Springs warehouse runs 10,000+ sq ft of active inventory with new truckloads arriving weekly. Pergolas & Patio Covers turnover is fast — the product grid on this page is a live slice of what's in stock and freight-eligible for Denver today. Items can move before a CO order ships, which is why we hold a unit once you pay.
Does Colorado weather affect pergolas freight transit?
Extreme weather in Colorado — winter storms, summer heat, hurricane season along the Gulf — can add 1-3 days to the 1,015 miles transit. Warp routes around closures when possible. The pergolas itself ships palletized and shrink-wrapped; climate-sensitive items (mattresses, electronics) stay in sealed packaging until delivery.
What if my pergolas item is too large for flat-rate freight to Denver?
Oversized pergolas — longer than 85 inches in any dimension, heavier than 850 lb, or multi-pallet — gets a custom Warp quote instead of the flat rate. The product page flags this and the checkout flow shows the actual rate for your specific Denver zip before you pay — oversized pieces are priced before payment, not surprise-billed later.
