Open Box Deals delivered to Dallas, TX — that's the short version. Francis Retail sources open-box sofas, open-box beds, and open-box appliances from major retailers clearing inventory, warehouses it in Santa Fe Springs, and ships it 1,435 miles to the Texas metro on a Warp freight lane. The freight price you see before you pay includes fuel — no separate fuel surcharge.
Texas tax handling on open box orders: unless we've crossed a nexus threshold in TX, Francis Retail doesn't collect state sales tax at checkout — Texas use tax may apply per state law. The practical upshot: a piece of open box that lists locally in Dallas with tax baked in often costs materially less when you order from us and pay flat-rate freight, even after freight is added. We do the math on the landed-cost table below so you can see exactly what a specific SKU costs delivered to your TX door.

How open box freight delivery works
Curbside + liftgate
Standard freight is curbside with liftgate: the driver lowers the pallet to your driveway or curb. Moving it inside is up to you unless you add inside delivery.
Two-man inside delivery (white-glove)
A 2-person crew brings your items inside your home, to the room of your choice — not just the curb. One flat $300 per order. Assembly isn't included.
Open Box shipping to Dallas — FAQ
How long does it take to assemble open box after it arrives in Dallas?
Varies by item — boxed open-box sofas typically take 30-90 minutes with basic tools, larger pieces 2-4 hours. Freight delivery doesn't include assembly; the two-man inside delivery add-on ($300) gets it to the room of your choice in Dallas, ready for you or a local handyman to assemble.
Do you deliver open box to cities near Dallas like Plano and Irving?
Yes — our Dallas freight lane covers the broader metro, including Plano, Irving, Garland, Arlington. The flat-rate pricing on this page applies across the catchment area. Enter your actual TX delivery zip at checkout and the system will confirm lane eligibility and final rate for your open box order.
How does open box ship on freight to Dallas?
Most open-box sofas and open-box beds fit on a single 50×50×85-inch pallet under 850 lb, which is Warp's flat-rate ceiling on the Dallas lane. The crew at our Santa Fe Springs warehouse boxes, wraps, and palletizes each item. If your specific SKU exceeds the ceiling (oversized pieces, multi-box sets), checkout will show a custom quote instead of the flat-rate number — no surprises.
Can I pick up open box at a Dallas freight terminal instead of having it delivered?
On several Dallas lanes, the carrier supports terminal pickup, which saves the residential delivery surcharge. Email [email protected] or call (562) 568-8883 before placing the order and we'll confirm whether your specific open box item supports Dallas-terminal pickup and what the savings would be.
Can I combine open box with other items in one shipment to Dallas?
Yes — multiple items to the same Dallas address ship on combined pallets as long as the total stays within Warp's 850-lb, 50×50×85 flat-rate ceiling. If your cart exceeds that, checkout shows a multi-pallet freight quote (still flat-rate per pallet) instead of surprise fees at delivery.
What payment methods do you accept for Dallas open box orders?
Card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover), Apple Pay, Google Pay, Cash App Pay, Amazon Pay, Link, and financing via Afterpay, Klarna, and Affirm. All handled through Stripe at checkout. Texas buyers see the same payment options as CA buyers on open box orders.
