If you're shopping for clearance in San Diego, California, Francis Retail runs a flat-rate freight lane from our Santa Fe Springs warehouse to the San Diego metro. We stock clearance sofas, clearance beds, and clearance dining sets from Costco, Amazon, and Signature Hardware at 40-80% off retail — and ship them 120 miles to your CA address by Warp LTL freight, with no markup added to the freight price.
California tax handling on clearance orders: unless we've crossed a nexus threshold in CA, Francis Retail doesn't collect state sales tax at checkout — California use tax may apply per state law. The practical upshot: a piece of clearance that lists locally in San Diego with tax baked in often costs materially less when you order from us and pay flat-rate freight, even after freight is added. We do the math on the landed-cost table below so you can see exactly what a specific SKU costs delivered to your CA door.
Curbside delivery with liftgate is included on every clearance order to San Diego. Driver calls 24-48 hours ahead to book a 4-hour window. Two-man inside delivery (white-glove) to the room of your choice is a flat $300 checkout add-on.

How clearance freight delivery works
Curbside + liftgate
Standard freight is curbside with liftgate: the driver lowers the pallet to your driveway or curb. Moving it inside is up to you unless you add inside delivery.
Two-man inside delivery (white-glove)
A 2-person crew brings your items inside your home, to the room of your choice — not just the curb. One flat $300 per order. Assembly isn't included.
Clearance shipping to San Diego — FAQ
Can I confirm the clearance freight rate to San Diego before placing an order?
Yes. The rate on this page is the current flat-rate quote for a representative clearance pallet to the San Diego catchment. If your item is oversized or your zip is at the edge of the lane, call (562) 568-8883 or email [email protected] and we'll confirm the exact rate and transit for your specific SKU and CA zip before you check out.
What delivery hours does the San Diego freight carrier operate?
Warp's San Diego carrier partner typically delivers clearance Monday through Friday during business hours. Saturday delivery may be available for an extra fee — ask at checkout. After the carrier calls to schedule, you'll pick a 4-hour window that works for you at your CA address.
What's the return policy on clearance shipped to San Diego?
Authorized 7-day change-of-mind returns on eligible Brand New and Open Box clearance: customer pays return freight plus a 15-30% restocking fee. Damage claims are separate — email photos within 48 hours of San Diego delivery and we resolve it at no cost to you (parts, repair, replacement, partial credit, or return with refund, at our election). Items marked "As-Is / For Parts" are final sale and disclosed as such on the product page.
Which CA zip codes qualify for flat-rate clearance freight on the San Diego lane?
The San Diego catchment covers residential CA zips within the San Diego metro commuter radius, including Chula Vista, Oceanside, Escondido and surrounding areas. Enter your actual delivery zip at checkout and the system confirms flat-rate eligibility for your clearance order. Fringe zips may quote a standard LTL rate instead of flat rate.
What if my clearance item is too large for flat-rate freight to San Diego?
Oversized clearance — longer than 85 inches in any dimension, heavier than 850 lb, or multi-pallet — gets a custom Warp quote instead of the flat rate. The product page flags this and the checkout flow shows the actual rate for your specific San Diego zip before you pay — oversized pieces are priced before payment, not surprise-billed later.
How far in advance should I order clearance for San Diego delivery?
Plan on about 2 weeks from order placement to a scheduled delivery window at your San Diego address: 1-2 business days of warehouse handling, 120 miles of LTL freight transit (2 business days), plus a carrier-scheduled appointment window. If you need clearance by a specific date, call us before ordering.
