Salt Lake City shoppers don't have to settle for local bedroom prices. Francis Retail liquidates overstock bedroom sets and bed frames by the truckload and ships it from Los Angeles to Salt Lake City, UT at predictable flat-rate freight — same pieces the big-box stores sell, delivered to your door after LTL transit (the current estimate is shown with the rate).
Dimensions matter more than distance for bedroom. A 700 miles run from Santa Fe Springs to Salt Lake City is 10 hours of drive time the carrier eats, not you. What kicks a freight quote off a cliff is when the pallet breaks Warp's 50×50×85 envelope or crosses 850 lb. For bedroom sets and bed frames, that's rare — we design our pallets around the flat-rate ceiling. The handful of SKUs that don't fit (oversized sectionals, long pergola beams, full home-gym sets) get a transparent custom quote instead of a surprise-at-delivery rate.
Every bedroom shipment to Salt Lake City includes liftgate — the driver lowers the pallet to ground level on a hydraulic gate so you don't need a dock. For a flat $300, two-man inside delivery (white-glove) brings it to the room of your choice — a visible add-on at checkout.

How bedroom freight delivery works
Curbside + liftgate
Standard freight is curbside with liftgate: the driver lowers the pallet to your driveway or curb. Moving it inside is up to you unless you add inside delivery.
Two-man inside delivery (white-glove)
A 2-person crew brings your items inside your home, to the room of your choice — not just the curb. One flat $300 per order. Assembly isn't included.
Bedroom shipping to Salt Lake City — FAQ
Can I pick up bedroom at a Salt Lake City freight terminal instead of having it delivered?
On several Salt Lake City lanes, the carrier supports terminal pickup, which saves the residential delivery surcharge. Email [email protected] or call (562) 568-8883 before placing the order and we'll confirm whether your specific bedroom item supports Salt Lake City-terminal pickup and what the savings would be.
What should Salt Lake City buyers know before ordering bedroom freight?
Three things: (1) measure your doorways, stairs, and access route — bedroom ships palletized, not flat-packed, and confirming fit and access is the buyer's responsibility; (2) be home for the delivery window (4 hours, scheduled 24-48 hours out); and (3) inspect every piece before signing the BOL, write any damage on it, photograph everything, and keep the packaging. That last one is the single biggest difference between a smooth Salt Lake City delivery and a slow damage claim.
