Why does office cost so much in Laredo? Because local retail in a metro of 268K people (median household income near $50K) can charge what it charges. Francis Retail sells liquidation inventory from our own warehouse and ships it to your TX address on a flat-rate freight lane built for office desks and office chairs.
Most office items we ship fit cleanly on a single pallet inside the 1,575 miles lane to Laredo. That means the rate you see on this page is the rate you'll pay, not an opening bid. If you're furnishing a home in the Laredo metro — population ~268K — run the landed-cost math: we sell office desks and office chairs at 40-80% off retail, and the current rate for a standard pallet is shown on this page.
For office bound for Laredo, TX, expect a scheduling call from the freight carrier 1-2 business days before delivery so you can pick a 4-hour window. Curbside is the default. Add two-man inside delivery (white-glove, flat $300) at checkout if the item is heavy, bulky, or going upstairs.

How office freight delivery works
Curbside + liftgate
Standard freight is curbside with liftgate: the driver lowers the pallet to your driveway or curb. Moving it inside is up to you unless you add inside delivery.
Two-man inside delivery (white-glove)
A 2-person crew brings your items inside your home, to the room of your choice — not just the curb. One flat $300 per order. Assembly isn't included.
Office shipping to Laredo — FAQ
Can I inspect office before it ships to Laredo?
Yes — our Santa Fe Springs warehouse is open to the public Mon-Fri 9-5 and Sat 10-4. If you want hands-on eyes on a specific office SKU before it leaves for Laredo, call (562) 568-8883 to arrange a walk-through. For remote buyers we can also send additional photos or a short video of your exact piece.
Do I need to be home for a office delivery in Laredo?
Yes — residential office freight to Laredo requires someone 18+ present at the delivery address to sign the Bill of Lading. The carrier will call to schedule a 4-hour window so you're not waiting all day. If no one's home during the confirmed window, the carrier's actual reattempt and storage charges apply before redelivery.
Are the office items shipped to Laredo new, open-box, or used?
Every office listing shows its condition: New (sealed, unopened), Open Box (returned or display, inspected and graded), or As-Is (visible wear, sold at deeper discount). Condition is disclosed on the product page before you add to cart — no bait-and-switch when the pallet arrives at your Laredo door.
Can I pick up office at a Laredo freight terminal instead of having it delivered?
On several Laredo lanes, the carrier supports terminal pickup, which saves the residential delivery surcharge. Email [email protected] or call (562) 568-8883 before placing the order and we'll confirm whether your specific office item supports Laredo-terminal pickup and what the savings would be.
Does Francis Retail ship office to Laredo, TX?
Yes. Laredo is on our Warp freight lane. We ship office desks, office chairs, and standing desks from our Santa Fe Springs, California warehouse to the Laredo metro at flat-rate freight. The lane covers Laredo proper and nearby areas including Rio Bravo, El Cenizo, Zapata.
Why is your office cheaper than Amazon for Laredo delivery?
Our office is often literally Amazon's inventory — overstock and returned-pallet liquidation from the same warehouses that stock Amazon. We skip Amazon's retail markup and the fulfillment fees baked into their price, then ship from Santa Fe Springs to Laredo. Same product, same condition grade, typically 40-80% less even after 1,575 miles of freight.
