Why does outdoor cost so much in Indianapolis? Because local retail in a metro of 2.1M people (median household income near $55K) can charge what it charges. Francis Retail sells liquidation inventory from our own warehouse and ships it to your IN address on a flat-rate freight lane built for outdoor sofas and Adirondack chairs.
Indiana tax handling on outdoor orders: unless we've crossed a nexus threshold in IN, Francis Retail doesn't collect state sales tax at checkout — Indiana use tax may apply per state law. The practical upshot: a piece of outdoor that lists locally in Indianapolis with tax baked in often costs materially less when you order from us and pay flat-rate freight, even after freight is added. We do the math on the landed-cost table below so you can see exactly what a specific SKU costs delivered to your IN door.
outdoor delivery to Indianapolis: Warp's carrier schedules a residential window with you before the truck arrives. Liftgate standard, curbside default. How outdoor freight delivery works
Curbside + liftgate
Standard freight is curbside with liftgate: the driver lowers the pallet to your driveway or curb. Moving it inside is up to you unless you add inside delivery.
Two-man inside delivery (white-glove)
A 2-person crew brings your items inside your home, to the room of your choice — not just the curb. One flat $300 per order. Assembly isn't included.
Outdoor shipping to Indianapolis — FAQ
Do you deliver outdoor to cities near Indianapolis like Carmel and Fishers?
Yes — our Indianapolis freight lane covers the broader metro, including Carmel, Fishers, Noblesville, Greenwood. The flat-rate pricing on this page applies across the catchment area. Enter your actual IN delivery zip at checkout and the system will confirm lane eligibility and final rate for your outdoor order.
What happens if outdoor arrives damaged in Indianapolis?
Inspect every piece before signing the Bill of Lading (BOL). Write any visible damage on the BOL before the driver leaves Indianapolis — that's critical for our carrier claim. Photograph the freight, packaging, and pallet, email photos plus your order number to [email protected] within 48 hours, and keep all packaging until the claim is closed. We resolve verified damage at no cost to you — replacement parts, repair, a replacement unit, partial credit, or a return with refund, at our election.
Why is your outdoor cheaper than Amazon for Indianapolis delivery?
Our outdoor is often literally Amazon's inventory — overstock and returned-pallet liquidation from the same warehouses that stock Amazon. We skip Amazon's retail markup and the fulfillment fees baked into their price, then ship from Santa Fe Springs to Indianapolis. Same product, same condition grade, typically 40-80% less even after 2,075 miles of freight.
What does inside (white-glove) delivery cost on Indianapolis outdoor shipments?
Checkout offers one delivery add-on: two-man inside delivery (white-glove) for a flat $300. A 2-person crew brings your outdoor inside your IN home to the room of your choice instead of leaving it at the curb. It doesn't include assembly. Without it, freight to Indianapolis is curbside with liftgate.
Are the outdoor items shipped to Indianapolis new, open-box, or used?
Every outdoor listing shows its condition: New (sealed, unopened), Open Box (returned or display, inspected and graded), or As-Is (visible wear, sold at deeper discount). Condition is disclosed on the product page before you add to cart — no bait-and-switch when the pallet arrives at your Indianapolis door.

We ship outdoor sofas, Adirondack chairs, and outdoor dining sets from our Santa Fe Springs, California warehouse to the Indianapolis metro at flat-rate freight.
