Why does outdoor cost so much in Charleston? Because local retail in a metro of 829K people (median household income near $81K) can charge what it charges. Francis Retail sells liquidation inventory from our own warehouse and ships it to your SC address on a flat-rate freight lane built for outdoor sofas and Adirondack chairs.
South Carolina tax handling on outdoor orders: unless we've crossed a nexus threshold in SC, Francis Retail doesn't collect state sales tax at checkout — South Carolina use tax may apply per state law. The practical upshot: a piece of outdoor that lists locally in Charleston with tax baked in often costs materially less when you order from us and pay flat-rate freight, even after freight is added. We do the math on the landed-cost table below so you can see exactly what a specific SKU costs delivered to your SC door.
Every outdoor shipment to Charleston includes liftgate — the driver lowers the pallet to ground level on a hydraulic gate so you don't need a dock. For a flat $300, two-man inside delivery (white-glove) brings it to the room of your choice — a visible add-on at checkout.

How outdoor freight delivery works
Curbside + liftgate
Standard freight is curbside with liftgate: the driver lowers the pallet to your driveway or curb. Moving it inside is up to you unless you add inside delivery.
Two-man inside delivery (white-glove)
A 2-person crew brings your items inside your home, to the room of your choice — not just the curb. One flat $300 per order. Assembly isn't included.
Outdoor shipping to Charleston — FAQ
What's included in the outdoor freight rate to Charleston?
Pickup from our 2,400 miles-away Santa Fe Springs warehouse, LTL freight transit on Warp's Charleston lane, curbside delivery with liftgate, and carrier scheduling. The one optional add-on — two-man inside delivery (white-glove) for a flat $300 — is a visible line item at checkout, not hidden inside the base rate.
Which SC zip codes qualify for flat-rate outdoor freight on the Charleston lane?
The Charleston catchment covers residential SC zips within the Charleston metro commuter radius, including Mount Pleasant, North Charleston, Summerville and surrounding areas. Enter your actual delivery zip at checkout and the system confirms flat-rate eligibility for your outdoor order. Fringe zips may quote a standard LTL rate instead of flat rate.
What does inside (white-glove) delivery cost on Charleston outdoor shipments?
Checkout offers one delivery add-on: two-man inside delivery (white-glove) for a flat $300. A 2-person crew brings your outdoor inside your SC home to the room of your choice instead of leaving it at the curb. It doesn't include assembly. Without it, freight to Charleston is curbside with liftgate.
How long does it take to assemble outdoor after it arrives in Charleston?
Varies by item — boxed outdoor sofas typically take 30-90 minutes with basic tools, larger pieces 2-4 hours. Freight delivery doesn't include assembly; the two-man inside delivery add-on ($300) gets it to the room of your choice in Charleston, ready for you or a local handyman to assemble.
Can I combine outdoor with other items in one shipment to Charleston?
Yes — multiple items to the same Charleston address ship on combined pallets as long as the total stays within Warp's 850-lb, 50×50×85 flat-rate ceiling. If your cart exceeds that, checkout shows a multi-pallet freight quote (still flat-rate per pallet) instead of surprise fees at delivery.
Can I save by bundling multiple outdoor pieces in one Charleston shipment?
Often yes. Because the Charleston lane rate is flat per pallet, adding more outdoor items to the same pallet is effectively free — your per-item shipping cost drops sharply. If you're furnishing a room or the whole home in Charleston, it's usually cheaper to batch orders than to ship one piece at a time.
