How does your reservation deposit system work for rugs?

Accepted Answer

Our reservation system lets you put down a small deposit (typically 10-20%) to hold rugs for 24 hours. Winchester customers use it to lock a piece while they arrange transport or finalize a decision. The deposit is applied in full toward the purchase price when you complete the order; if you cancel, it's refunded less our actual, documented costs — or, at your option, issued in full as store credit.

What's your return policy on rugs?

Accepted Answer

Three tiers: (1) Damage/defect — report within 48 hours with photos to returns@francisretail.com; our team reviews it and chooses the fix — parts, repair, replacement, partial credit, or a return with refund — at no cost to you. (2) Change of mind on rugs — 7 days with our authorization, eligible Brand New / Open Box grades only, item must be unused and resalable, you pay the return transport, 15-30% restocking fee applies. Can I get more photos of the rugs before ordering?

Accepted Answer

We photograph each piece from multiple angles before listing. Listings typically have 6-15 photos covering structure, fabric close-ups, corners, and any flaws. If a Winchester customer needs more — a specific corner, a seam, a cushion underside — we'll take extras on request.

What rug sizes do you carry?

Accepted Answer

All standard sizes: 3x5, 5x7, 6x9, 8x10, 9x12, 10x14. Plus 2ft and 3ft wide runners, and round rugs. For Winchester homes, 8x10 is the most popular living-room size. Stock rotates, so if you need a specific size, filter on the site.

Can I inspect rugs in person before buying?

Yes. You can book a free inspection visit through our website or just walk in during business hours. For Winchester customers, the drive is about 60 minutes. See the rugs in person, photograph every angle, check the fit — no obligation to buy. If you don't like it in person, you walk out.
