Most of the time, yes. We're pricing from a liquidation cost base, so our open box runs well below Amazon's retail. Koreatown customers frequently email us ASIN checks — we'll confirm whether we have the same item and what the price comparison is.
Can I inspect open box in person before buying?
Absolutely. Drop by during business hours and inspect any piece on the floor. You can sit on it, open drawers, check hardware, whatever you need. Koreatown is 16 miles out — close enough that a lot of our customers come to inspect before buying online. No appointment required for walk-ins.
What's your return policy on open box?
Three tiers: (1) Damage/defect — report within 48 hours with photos to [email protected]; our team reviews it and chooses the fix — parts, repair, replacement, partial credit, or a return with refund — at no cost to you. (2) Change of mind on open box — 7 days with our authorization, eligible Brand New / Open Box grades only, item must be unused and resalable, you pay the return transport, 15-30% restocking fee applies. Can your crew haul away old open box when they deliver to Koreatown?
Case-by-case. If the Koreatown crew has truck space after delivering your new open box, they may be able to haul off old items. Ask when booking — don't assume. We aren't a junk-removal service but we do try to help when logistics allow.
Is there enough parking at the warehouse to pick up open box?
Yes. We have a large lot at 13544 Imperial Highway with room for pickup trucks, SUVs, and rental trucks. The loading area is around the back of the building. Pull up, let our team know which open box order you're picking up, and we'll help you load it safely.
What's the difference between clearance and overstock at Francis Retail?
Our "clearance" section is items we need to move fast — usually because the next truckload is coming and we need floor space. Those pieces are already discounted further below our normal liquidation price. "Overstock" is brand-new surplus from retailers. Clearance items can be any condition grade; overstock is always brand-new sealed. Koreatown bargain-hunters check clearance weekly.
