Henry Wilson, Ralph Edwards, Donnell VanNoppen, and Sterling Collett. The company name itself is a tribute to its founders — a portmanteau of Henry, re (Ralph Edwards), and Don (Donnell).

Starting with just $10,000 in capital and only three furniture pieces, Henredon grew to become a benchmark for American luxury furniture.
